ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s K9 Adoption Center’s pet of the week is a 5-year-old terrier mix named Chaos.

Chaos is a testament to the idea that names can be deceiving. With his calm demeanor and low energy vibe, he makes a great canine companion for anyone. Chaos is laid back, enjoys leisure walks, and is a friend to everyone he meets. Already neutered and up to date on his vaccines, Chaos is more than ready to find a forever home.

“He’s very easy to walk and he rides well in the car. With his slow pace, he would be an exceptional dog for any family of any size. He just needs a lot of attention and a lot of affection.” K-9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid said.

As families prepare to celebrate Easter with baskets full of treats, the K9 Adoption Center wants to remind everyone to keep chocolate and Easter sweets out of reach from dogs to ensure the safety of our furry friends.

“On Easter Sunday, a lot of candy’s going to be floating around. We want to make sure that all candy remains inaccessible to all of our pets. Chocolate is kind of a dangerous thing for the animals, so it’s very important. They love the taste of it as well, but the end result is not always good.” McQuaid said.

Visit the K9 Adoption Center’s website for more information on how to adopt Chaos or to learn about other dogs in need of loving homes.
